IPhone Apps From The Past Year Or So That Should Be Bought

If you are looking for a new type of phone to get, chances are, you have probably considered the iPhone. I mean, in this day and age, who hasn’t? The iPhone is an incredible mobile device and its uses span way further than just making calls. In my opinion, the greatest part of the iPhone is the apps.

When it comes to my iPhone, here are some apps that I consistently use.

I’ll start off by mentioning my favorite game on the phone, which is without a shadow of a doubt, Angry Birds. Created by the hit makers Rovio, this game is incredibly addicting and well worth its $1 price tag.

Another App that should be owned by everyone with an iPhone, simply for its sheer technological coolness, is Google Earth. This device lets you view satellite images anywhere in the world!

The ESPN mobile sports app is worth downloading for any sports fan, casual or die-hard. Every sport from tennis to football to college football is covered on this application.

Mobile banking is here to stay. Whichever bank you use (assuming it’s a major one), there is probably an app that they offer. Take advantage of mobile banking, which allows you to schedule payments on your phone, or transfer money on the fly.

Last but not least is the Nike running app. This thing acts as an odometer and lets you know information like your pace, distance traveled and calories burned. Very cool indeed.

Hopefully there is an app on this list that you have yet to download or would like to learn more about. All of these options are either free or offer a free trial.
