How a Gaming Mouse can improve your gaming?

PC gaming is becoming like a popular sport with amazing games and with multiplayer games been able to play online, each and everyone has the opportunity to play against other players locally or worldwide and see how is the best. Now on PC gaming we can see a lot of companies producing gaming gear to improve your game play and enjoy to the best your time while gaming with well designed and comfortable products. And when we come to skills you do really need to be on top of the edge with gaming gear to play better and make it easier.

And you should know that a gaming mouse can make a huge difference about that, because the gaming mouse’s of now has a lot of features like the logitech gaming mouse’s or razer gaming mouse’s making some of the best PC gaming stuff right now.

If you still playing with a ball mouse please do yourself a favor and get a optical gaming mouse or even better a laser gaming mouse and you won’t be getting “owned” so easy. But even having an optical or laser gaming mouse you’ll really need to get used to DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings or adjustable sensitivity. A standard optical mouse has 800 DPI and a laser gaming mouse can get up to 4000 DPI, which means that with lower DPI you’ll have to move more your mouse over the surface to get to a point and with a higher DPI you’ll need less movements on the surface to get to where you want.

But on gaming the DPI settings is a bit more complicated because you’ll have to choose which DPI is the best for you, if is too high maybe you won’t be able to aim properly and faster or if is to low you’ll be too slow to react to some situations. So it takes some time of gameplay to get a DPI setting that is the best for you as everyone has different choices.

A good gaming mouse has some other features like “On the fly DPI switching” this will let you change your DPI setting while gaming by just pressing buttons to lower it or to increase it like for example: while using a AK-47 on Counter Sritke you are at 2000 DPI then you want to use a sniper rifle you just press the button to lower the DPI at 1000 DPI to get a better aiming.

Also the best gaming mouses are having “weight tuning systems” that let’s you make the mouse heavier or lighter according with how you like it to be. And on board profile management is another cool feature where you can preset different DPI settings for each game without losing time every time you switch from one game to another game.

And the prices for a gaming mouse can be from R300 up to R1000 most of them having a lot of customizable buttons, DPI display and more goodies.

But to get the best out of your optical gaming mouse or laser gaming mouse you should really get a good gaming mouse pad, it really makes a difference on the way you gaming mouse slides on it.

My first gaming mouse was a logitech MX518 gaming mouse it was an amazing improvement on skills from a standard optical mouse that has 800 DPI and the MX518 having 1600 DPI it really felt like ready to game for hours feeling always comfortable and switching DPI settings on the fly while changing weapons was a breeze.

After that new mouses were coming out and with higher DPI settings, that was a small problem on online gaming where you really need to be able to react fast without losing accuracy, so sometimes it was like I was moving slower but after a while I knew that I needed to move faster so I decided to get a new mouse.

So I decided to get the Razer Lachesis gaming mouse because some friends told me that was the best gaming mouse out there, having 4000DPI, 3G Laser and the best looking mouse ever made I think. I was thinking to stay with logitech and getting a Logitech G9, but the looks of the Razer Lachesis and knowing that Razer makes some of the best PC gaming goodies I decide to get that one.

At the beginning was difficult to get used to the Lachesis because it’s design is very different from the MX518 and much lighter, to be honest I got frustrated with it but was a matter of time getting used to it and those 4000 DPI still too much for me but with time I’m sure I’ll need it right now 2400 DPI is good enough for me. You can’t jump from 800 DPI to an 4000 DPI gaming mouse and think that you’ll be able to control it, it takes time.

So if you are looking for a new gaming mouse I recommend you the Razer Lachesis as the best gaming mouse by me! But right now some of the best mouse are:
